Amazon Grocery Clearance Event

You're going to love this one: Amazon is having a Grocery Spring Clearance Event. Here are the details:

For a limited time, save an extra $10 after an instant rebate when you spend $25 or more (that's 40%) on eligible items. Use the following code when you check out: CLEARMAR. Please note that some clearance items may have a short shelf life and are not refundable. Quantities available for this instant rebate are limited, so act quickly to get the best deal. Free shipping, too.

Eligible items include Horizon chocolate milk singles, Kraft Mac n Cheese spirals, Planters trail mix, Harmony snacks, Starkist tuna, PopTarts, YoGos, Disney dried fruit, Jello and more. I'm giddy! The thing about the short shelf life raises the old eyebrow, but since food never stays on the shelf very long around here anyway, I think I'm gonna go for it.

At the risk of sounding "gross," most of that stuff stays good well past its shelf-life anyway. :) (I am not a throw it away because the package says it is expired kind of woman!)

Awesome! I got some of the horizon boxed milk. We just ran out of boxed drinks for school this morning!

You can even use the code multiple times!!!

just wantd to say that just because an item says best before a certain date, doesnt mean u cant use it past that date..the company just has to set some sort of date in order to save themselves any grief later on...of course, milk is bad when it smells sour, but eggs can be used up to 2 months past thier exp date. this also holds true for many pill form meds.
