if you want to get a costume - but not necessarily for halloween, but just because it's cute - is it better to wait until after halloween or before for the sales? i have a 4 mo old wearing 9 mo clothing.
Definitely after Halloween. You'll get them 75% (-ish) off, but the selection will be picked over. Be sure to check out the consignment stores, too for fantastic bargains, too.
When looking up the Pump In Style Advanced - Metro Bag on the BabyCenter website, it looks like it is only 10% off for a total of $296.99:
