Fun and Free Holiday Craft Ideas for Kids

My #1 go-to source for craft and activity ideas is Family Fun, which has a whole section of "cute and easy Christmas crafts." You'll find everything from Advent calendars to edible decorations like Puffy the Polar Bear. I love these Sock Snowfolk (shown), made from plastic containers. Each craft "recipe" includes the time committment you'll be making as well as great photos of the finished product. Family Fun is also a great place to find holiday-themed games and kid-friendly holiday recipes.

And have you bookmarked Kids Craft Weekly? It's a great site full of well, crafts for kids. The cool kind not the cheesy kind. Kids Craft Weekly is also a great source of Christmas and craft ideas, from ornaments and handmade cards (very thrifty!) for Christmas and Hannukah.

Readers, what are your favorite sources for kiddie craft ideas?
