For what it's worth, I would take this bag in any color they made it in at this price. I have one for my twins, and it is literally the perfect bag. So many USEFUL compartments, and easy to carry, too. It even fits on my double stroller. I get comments all the time. LOVE it!

I agree with Tracy. I got a SkipHop before I found out I was having twins, and I was worried it wouldn't be big enough. I was able to pack for twin infants PLUS my 2yo. I love this bag! It was so great to have a hands-free option so I could push the double stroller with one hand and hold my toddler's hand with the other.

Great bag!

I bought a Skip Hop Duo this past winter and wish I had gotten it from day one. This bag is fabulous!! Seriously, it's the perfect bag for us and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

It is also on sale at Diapers.com in a few colors, Chocolate, Ice Blue, and Green Camo. They are $26 - 30 there. I'm debating whether or not I need one. Love the chocolate with pink piping!

Thanks! Here's the link for the camo duo: http://is.gd/1ySUz

The other Skip Hops referenced in the comment above are for Dash, rather than Duo.

We have that diaper bag as well, in baby blue and I adore it. Before I got it on ebay (for 12 bucks brand new I might add) we had a carter's messenger bag and I HATED it. It holds a ton, I love the stroller option, and it is streamlined to not drag you down carrying it plus the baby.

Bummed to have missed it! First time mama, due in less than three weeks (!), looking for a lightweight washable diaper bag. Anyone got any other great deals?

We have the Spark brand Target version of this bag...also made by Skip Hop. I have found them on clearance as low as $7. It has been plenty big enough for my 2 in cloth diapers. I do wish the main compartment had a zipper, though...

We had the Duo first and then upgraded to the Dash. Both are awesome, but the Dash holds a bit more (which I found handy because I could have an extra change of clothing for baby and could carry my wallet, etc.). In any case, $30 for a Dash is a great deal!

Something to note, the older versions have velcro closures, but the newer ones have magnetic closures (less noisy and won't stick to clothing).

To second the person who wrote that they carry the "spark" version at Target:

I have used the original Skip Hop as a nanny and the Target version as a mom and I swear to you - I have TRIED to find a difference between the two, and there just isn't one.

It's not worth the extra price, unless you're picky about color - I'd go with the target version.

First time mom due in a couple of weeks and the diaper bag is one of the only things we haven't purchased yet, mostly because I don't know how to choose. So, what are your "must have" features/qualities for diaper bags? Do you focus on the number of separate compartments or is bigger just generally better? I know when I carry a large purse I end up carting around a lot more just because I can, so I tend to gravitate towards the smaller diaper bags but then I wonder if they'll hold everything baby needs. Thanks for your input!
